Car description |

What we have here is a very nice example of what's arguably one of the most beautiful cars ever designed. I bought the car 3-4 years ago from a long time friend who had moved into the city and lost his garage. He had purchased the car from an attorney in Miami many years prior. I can only imagine what it was like to have this car in Miami in the 80's...
The car is in great shape both mechanically and cosmetically. Not perfect, but I'll try to highlight the issues for you. It's been re-sprayed at some point in it's life and I consider it very well done with no over spray that I see. There are a couple very small dings to the body. The paint was rubbed off the passenger side wheel well at some point and there is an unfortunate rust bubble on the trunk lid. Other than that the paint looks glossy and even with no orange peel. The top is in great shape with no yellowing or scratches on the clear back window. The canvas is snug with no rips or stains. Chrome is nice and bright all around and the wheels are curb rash free.
The interior has the typical dash crack above the center stack and the center console has some small cracks as well. I think this is just par for the course with Fiats of this era. Seats are vinyl, carpet looks original with Fiat floor mats that must be aftermarket. It's a very presentable and comfortable interior overall.
The car has been serviced locally by Abacus Racing. I suspect they think working on this car is a little beneath them but they are a very reputable shop with experience working on fine classic cars. The tires on the car are almost new and I just had a new battery installed. The car runs great, idles smoothly and sounds amazing with its Ansa exhaust.
Mileage is unknown. It would be foolish for me to even hazard a guess. The friend I bought it from says he had the speedometer replaced though and it's stuck at 16,??? miles now. A carfax type report says it had 64,??? mile in 2009.
If there are additional pics or information you think would be helpful just let me know and I'll do my best to answer them.
