*NO RESERVE AUCTION*The 1967 Ghia 1500GT is located in Valley Grande. AL. just outside of Selma. AL. The owner George has owned it for a long time. but a Rolls project and other things have taken him away from finishing the car. Here are the details. Body/Exterior/Interior/Issues Arizona Title in George’s name. clear and matching to the car. The car per his registration sits as a 1967. The VIN tag is on the left side of the inner fender wall in the engine bay (if you can zoom in on the photo you can see it). It reads: GHIA GT1500 CHASSIS# 382718 1. 00 KILOGRAMS (weight) The car has not been wrecked ever. the only work has been a rear right tap that was repaired before any of the paint or bodywork was done as you see it now. Car is straight. It has an Alfa 5spd gearbox. which is NOT adapted to the rear end. He has the proper drive shaft. but it does need to be trimmed to the correct size. The present engine and gearbox combo have NOT been driven together as it sits right now (the orig. engine is long gone. and NOT included). Please Note:The front-end needs a proper rack/pinion utilized. currently to fit in front of the radiator. or possibly a new steering cross member would solve the steering engineering aspect. This will take some engineering aspect from the new owner. I mention this as to not be repetitive in answering a million questions. It has a big oil pan (race style) that sits low. George has all Veglia NOS instrument gauges for the cluster. but a dash face gauge board will need to be fabricated. The present Carbs have been re-jetted. and the engine was built. pushing approx. 140+ hp. she is running Auto Delta Cams too (see spec pictures attached) There is NO rust/rot underneath. some surface/underspray. but the floors are great. rockers great. fenders/inner walls are fine. Engine Please see the attached spec sheet. 1977 Alfa 2. 0 block. *please note too. on the engine. all the bits are there. More Information Gathered Since October/November Here are some Q and A’s from people over the last couple of months. Dashboard- George had originally wanted to install a burl wood dash. with bigger gauges. The original dash/faceplate in the car when it was new to him. had holes in the top of it. he tried to cut out bigger holes for the gauges he wanted. but had cut them too big. so moved on to the wooden dash/face design. It is not two separate pieces apparently. but one dash top connected to the gauge face. and is long gone. This would mean the included gauges. though correct Veglia "vintage". are in fact smaller than what originally would've come on the car. Included Parts- Not Specified in eBay ad 1st run Steering wheel shroud(3) Turn Signal StalksIgnition (no guarantee he has this key though)A COMPLETE ashtrayGlove Box Lid (new)(5) little dash lights. and a rocker switch Windshield front trim? It is aluminum. It is one piece and hanging in his garage. The "T" aspect he had explained was what the trim looks like. the "T" being how it fits into the rubber windshield gasket. This is a VERY hard part to find if lost. Where are the face plate and wheels? The face plate was taken out when he had the car completely apart for paint. unfortunately it got tossed. And the wheels he took off and sold them to an Italian car parts shop after he found and put the Daytons on (sometime in the 90's). Please explain the situation with the wheels. You have the correct center caps but they are for a different type of wheel? The Original wheels that came on this Ghia were Cromodora's. He has the center caps for those wheels along with some Alfa center caps (from a Spyder). The current wheels are the Dayton wires that you see on it. and he does NOT have center caps for these wheels. Do the extra parts include headers for that engine? Glad you asked and I can clarify this. He does NOT have the exhaust system for the Ghia. the headers. or radiator. Since a radiator will have to be accounted for when figuring out the front suspension. he never got around too it. I'm not sure what type of headers your mech. quoted you. but this is just a basic Alfa 2. 0 block. headers are not hard to find. nor very expensive. and exhaust wise. I would recommend a custom bent pipe. to the Ansa tips. Is all the glass good? The front windshield is glass-plastic-glass layered; there is one small spot of condensation (I'm not sure it showed in photos) between the glass. The rear shield is not glass. but like high tensile airplane plastic (material). And that is in fine shape. Is that the correct insert for the front grill? If not. are the correct parts included? There was no "grill" originally on Ghia 1500's (it was open). He added the Alfa piece as his own part. you can remove it if you'd like. Is that the correct steering wheel? It is the correct steering wheel. with correct emblem. Are all exterior and interior trim bits included such as all emblems. mirrors. license plate holder. etc. ? Extra's and notables: There is no "nose" badge. though a script "Ghia" approx. 3" long is included. It will come with 2-3 different types of "GT" style bullet side view mirrors. rear view mirror. emblems. there is a chrome "square" style license plate holder (Maserati). A big box of bits and pieces if you will Also. new KYB shocks. ILSPEC wiring harness (very high grade). allory Fuel Pump/Regulator Series 140. new Fuse Box (Italian. used in Ferrari's of the era). arb adapters are included for the Del's. agnetti Marelli Distributor w/ wiring. lectric Radiator Fan. the brake boosters were re-done before he put it away. and yes. it has 4 wheel disc brakes. *And note. the spare wheel is a cast wheel. not a matching wire. Summary The key parts are the paint is quite nice. there is one blemish on the left where the side-view mirror would go anyway. With a buff. the paint will look even more fantastic. the car was not cleaned for the photos. I wanted to represent it for him exactly as it sits.
