1979 Fiat 124 Spider

For sale is a 1979 Fiat Spider with only 57k miles; extremely low mileage for a 37 year old car!. Great looking car in a good color combination. Excellent drivers car with with a 5 speed manual transmission which shifts perfectly with a tight clutch pedal. Current PA Sate Safety and Emissions inspection. Excellent tread on tires. Good brakes and suspension. The car starts right up, the motor runs well and is extremely quiet and smooth. The dash pad has no cracks, all lights work, turn signals and flashers work, the clock even works! Car was originally white and was repainted red at one point during it’s life. The paint is glossy with two small dents on the hood and a few chips, nothing unusual for a car of this age.

A lot of recent work has been done to this car. The mechanical items include Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, Carburetor Rebuild, Spark Plugs, Spark Plug Wires, Distributor Cap and Rotor, Battery. The cosmetic items replaced were Seat Covers, Carpets, Convertible Top.

The last time I took the car out for a drive, the passengers side latch on the convertible top would not latch. Probably just needs an adjustment, i simply don't have the time to work on it.
