I buy older cars that are beyond repair and part them out sending the body to the scrap yard. This is the fifth Fiat 850 that I have had. Most of them are so rusty that you can put your feet on the ground while sitting in the seat. It was my plan to part this car out but when I got it home I looked it over and find that the body is in good shape, that is for a Fiat) too nice to end up in a scrap yard. If you do much with Fiat 850's you know that most have major rust issues, his one does not.I am not saying that this car does not have rust, t does, ust areas are the foot wells, runk, nder the seats and perhaps a few others. But the X frame is good and the other rust areas can be fixed. Some rust on top of engine lid, his rust does not go thru. I ran a magnet over the body to see if I could fine any Bondo areas, could not, oes not mean there are none, could have missed some. I have attached several pictures of the underside of the car. I believe that this body can be saved so I offer it here to somebody who is looking for a project and is willing to take this on. Other areas of car also need attention.Engine is said to have a blown head gasket, ngine does turn over. This is a 903cc (4 bolt water pump)Interior also needs work, ee pictures, ight side of dash needs work, ash has cracks in it (I have a very very nice dash that I would sell with this car for $199), eats need work, ll door cards and most other interior panels are included but all need work. Does come with the top bows but no top. I have no idea if mileage is correct, t is just what is shown on speedometer.
