1985 Ferrari Mondial QV. Please note: the vin has too many characters so Ebays system wont let me create the ad unless I say its a 1980 or earlier. It IS a 1985....NOT a 1980!
The car runs well. Body and interior are real nice. New hides on front seats a few years ago....professionally done. Just got an updated fuse box and a new clutch master cylinder. Has a new JVC CD/AM/FM installed...the power antenna works. The battery is good and was installed 2 years ago.
The tires tread wise are like new but they are old and need replaced....some very small cracking starting due to age. Its due for timing belts which is fairly easy and inexpensive to do. If you can wrench, there are YTube videos detailing the whole job. Its actually a pretty straight forward job and if you have ever done a timing belt change, you can do it yourself. The belts and tensioner kit run less than $300. I was going to go ahead and do it but have too many other things going on to get to it any time soon. I figured the new owner would want to either do it themselves or have it done by their mechanic so they know how it was done and what parts were used as there are a few choices on the tensioner bearings. Some people like the Hill brand for instance and rather than install MY choice I figured the new owner would want to make that decision.
Buyer is responsible for shipping charges and arrangements.
Car is sold as is no warranty expressed or implied. Please ask any and all questions BEFORE you bid. Please dont bid if you dont intend to complete the transaction. Its time consuming to open a non paying bidder case and it winds up costing me money that I have to get Ebay to refund because they consider the car sold. I welcome all serious bidders...but folks that bid and then dont pay or respond after the auction cause problems for the seller.
This car is also being offered locally. If it sells locally I reserve to cancel auction.
