Car description

I AM STARTING THIS AUCTION AT A PENNY AND IT WILL SELL TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER. You are looking at an exceptionally unique and rare vehicle. This is a 1985 Fiero with a Ferrari 512 Turbo Fiberglass Kit car/Replicar body on it. The donor car is a 1985 Fiero "GT. meaning that after complaints of the underpowered 2. 5 liter 4 cylinder in the 1984 Fiero base model (politely referred to as the Iron Duke. less affectionately known as the Iron Puke. ) Pontiac added the more powerful 2. 8L V6 fuel injected engine to the car in 1985 adding the moniker GT. That is what sits under the body. It has an automatic transmission and runs fine. The interior is presentable with no rips in the seats. Has a/c is present. nbsp;power windows and manual sunroof. Tilt steering and cruise. They have been reupholstered nicely. Carpet is black as is all else in the interior. There are a few spots indicating the car was once red but is now a pearlescent yellow. Looks pretty good and there are a few scratches that were "fixed" with a non pearlescent paint. I have showed pics of the car including these areas. There is an area on the front drivers side fender that could use a fiberglass patch. Looks like a minor mail box swipe or something. The car does not have power steering but can be added. If you're planning doing a lot of parallel parking. it would be a good idea! This really does look like a Ferrari and it sounds good with the dual exhaust. Starts and runs well. If you are familiar with Pontiac's engineering design flaw. you know that the battery sits under the passenger side engine vent. If the battery goes dead. the electronic truck latch cannot open the trunk which is required to get to the battery. Well. that happened to me so I had to cut out the vent to access the battery. These right side vents can be found here on eBay for $50 or so. The tires are low profile 245/45/R17 and while they have good tread they are also weather checked. The size will give you a wide array of choices with the 17 inch wheels. When shifting into reverse. nbsp;there is a "grab" possibly needing a transmission/engine mount. No trouble driving. shifting through all gears. etc. Just when shifting into reverse. I bought this in the midst of a midlife crisis. Phew! Glad that's over! I am starting my own business and that means all pay and no play. The toys have to go. That is why I am selling at ONE PENNY starting bid. There is no reserve and there is not a Buy It Now price. I am confident that the eBay community will accurately define the market value. Some have called me crazy but I have been on eBay for 15 years and back in the old days I used to put my phone number in the auction ad. Well. I guess I'm still crazy. If you have any questions or would like a picture of any particular area of the car or come by for a test drive. etc. text (for initial contact) 270 872 7507. I am on Eastern Time so please be respectful and mindful of the time. Title is clear and is currently in process for a speed title. In Colorado. that means immediately. In KY. a speed title means 3-5 business days. The current title states there is a discrepancy with the miles stated on the odometer so consider this a TMU. nbsp;true mileage unknown car. If you come to get this with a trailer. bring some 10 foot long boards. The front end is VERY low and needs the angle to load properly. If you are in need of shipping assistance. I can deliver up to 500 miles from 42701 zip code at $1. 50 per loaded mile. I am 45 minutes south of Louisville. KY. Frequently asked questions are: "Will it make it to __________?" I can't guarantee anything but I drove it today and it was fine. Not licensed so I didn't go far. I don't see why it wouldn't make a trip. "Will I trade?" No. I'm selling straight out. "Do I have a Buy It Now Price?" No. it sells for what it sells for. "Can I come see/drive it?" Absolutely. Email me through eBay or text to my phone and we can set it up. Ask any questions and I'll post it to the ad site for all to see. Thanks for looking at the auction and good luck.
