Black/Red 1985 Euro Spec Mondial Cabriolet
The Ebay template does not accept euro vin # so I input the vin from my 1988 Mondial. The actual vin for this black car is:
VIN #ZFFLC15B000050797
http://www.red-headed.com/vin_decoder.php
Extensively (last) serviced in 2005 at Spitzer Automotive in Indianapolis, IN at 72405 KM or about 44990 Miles. I bought the car in 2015 and car currently has about 75000 KM or 46500 Miles so since the full out service the car has traveled around 1500 miles. Belts and bearing should be changed due to age/time but should be no need to go in and adjust valves since those parts don't wear due to time. Included are Hill Engineering Bearings from Ricambia America
Interior is in good overall shape for the age. Seats are soft and no major rips or tears or side bolster wear. There is a little leather shrinkage around the rear window area.
Car was repainted or clear coated at some point but paint is overall good. There are 3 small dents. One in front drivers fender, other two in head light pod. Each about the size of a dime and paint is still intact, they are just dimples.
Top is in good shape with a small tear on drivers side where it folds when it goes down. Convertible top cloth cover is pretty worn.
Do not have original wheels. Tires are from 2000 as are the 360 wheels
Has some typical Mondial electrical gremlins. Rear quarter windows dont work. Radio antennae does not elevate. Ignition key tumblers occasionally lock up making you have to fidget with the key to turn it. Occasionally on the first turn of the key the starter does not engage, but typically on the second turn the car fires right up. AC does not blow cold
Car is in Duluth, MN
Many more pics and info for serious buyers
This is a good driver quality car. Shifts well and runs well. Probably best for an experienced Mondial owner who has previously sorted out these cars little problemsOn Jun-26-19 at 20:02:08 PDT, seller added the following information:

PURCHASE OPTIONS
- I have another set of 360 wheels with brand new Yokohama S Drive tires. Can swap out for an additional $1600 to purchase
- I have a set of OEM Mondial wheels off of an 88. Not sure about the fitment to this 85 (please check), they were media blasted but have oxidized a little sitting in the garage so would need another quick blast or dip prior to paint. As is condition additional $1000 to purchase.
OVERALL
- This is a good driver quality car in a great and rare color comb that you wont be embarrassed to show up in at a car show or Ferrari event. It has typical issues of any ferrari of the age, a very clean engine compartment, good quality repaint or clear. It shifts like butter. I've owned 4 Ferraris in 20 years and this is by far the best shifting one I've ever owned.
- I've been an owner for nearly 20 years and have spent a lot of time and money traveling to look at cars all over the country only to be disappointed due to sellers/dealers less than up front descriptions. I will be brutally honest about a cars condition to save you from the same wasted time and money as I suffered. As such just looking for an appropriate price for a well described and up front car.
- Thanks for reading
