Vehicle Overview Up for sale is a 1982 FerrariMondial 8 with only 30515 to be truly believed original miles.
The Ferrari spent all of its life in warm climates before it came to California. It comes with a clean carfax history report which shows no accidents and some documentation of the low mileage. All panels are laser straight with even gaps.
This Mondiallooks very clean with just small signs of wear and very minor blemishes which I pointed out in the pictures. There is a rust spot on the right side rocker panel and a spot on the driver side door where they burned through the paint while polishing the car.
Otherwise, the car looks really, really nice (and not only from a 10 feet distance). The Ferrari "Rosso Corsa Red" looks nice and shiny all around, even close up.
The leather seats have just been redone very professionally and look like brand new with the red piping.
Please take a look at all the detailed pictures and judge by yourself. The car has just received new injectors and runs and shifts very well. However, the mechanic side needs some attention to make this a perfect car.
The ignition switch doesn't work properly and for that reason there was an additional kill switchinstalled. Right side window doesn't work and turn signal lever is broken. There might be some other small things. My guess is that the car needs approx. $3,000 to make it mechanically and cosmetically perfect.
I am trying to advertise the car as honest as possible. I fully support pre-purchase inspections and prefer to have it checked out from yourself or a third party before making an offer.
This Ferrari is a great car with solid bones and a lot of potential in terms of increasing value. In my opinion the Mondial designed by Pininfarina could be the next classic Ferrari.
I am a certified Mercedes-Benz mechanicmyself and more than happy to answer all questions you might have.
