I have a very rare, used Ferrari 208GT/4 transaxle for sale. It is in excellent condition. All syncros have been measured and are in specification. Bearings freely rotate without noise. Positraction unit is fully functioning. Came from vehicle with 22K miles. The gear ratios differ from a 308 series car. The final drive ratio is lower, and the gear spacing is closer. Fifth gear in the 208 transaxle is equal to fourth gear in a 308. If you are building a "track" car, this transaxle is perfect for that. Ferrari used this transaxle in the 208"s to compensate for the loss of horsepower with the smaller displacement, hence the lower gearing. It will fit any 208/308 series car until 1979. Transaxle is complete, less bellhousing. The motor mounts do not come with the transmission.
