Information:

Built in 1984, by the time the Movie was made in 1985

only two cars existed this one and the number 02 car.

I think it is hysterical that 6 cars have sold through

Auction houses all claiming they "were in the Movie" or "Movie Cars"

the claim is outrageous, I saw five and they could not

be in the Movie (one had Coil overs and was made in 1987)

the Movie was made in 1985.. You would think the buyers

would do some research, Road & Track claimed in 1986

the cars built had Torsion Bars prior to being built by

Keith Knapp (Knapp cars) Modena Design changed ownership.

It is a replica based

on a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT Spyder,

once the Movie Ferris Bueller Aired Ferrari Corp.

Sued Modena Design (company closed).. Ironically

Road & Track reviewed this Modena said:

• "Modena Spyder California is about state-of-the-art."
• "It has a good chassis and competent suspension, and it offers
• thepossibilityof some truly hellacious go-fast motoring."
