25441 was completed in September 1978 finished in ArgentoChiaro Metallic over Red leather upholstery, nd purchased new in Spring of the following year. In 1980, his Canadian native was sent to the Ferrari Distributor, aranello Motors of Toronto to receive a rare dealer installed factory Le Mans / Sprint Package, hich entailed performance wheels, ires, xhaust, istons, ams, ag, arburetor and clutch components. At the same time, repaint to its current Rosso exterior was performed. It was later purchased by a good friend of the first owner who always admired the car and would go on to own the Ferrari nearly its entire life. Always stowed away from inclement weather, he 308 received a complete and major engine rebuild in 2009 at nearly $30,000 CAD in invoices. During the rebuild, new auxiliary plenum and carburetor was installed for ease of maintenance and performance, nd although the original Webers were removed they are included with the sale. After the service was completed the car went into storage before we acquired. Today the car runs and drives with a feel of a strong motor and good handling although a service to the brakes and muffler is recommended.
