LEGITIMATE BIDS/OFFERS ONLY. No first time/less than 10 feedback rating bidding permitted without contacting me FIRST with your intentions,
1959 Edsel Corsair 4 door, Premium trim level of the Edsel sedan for that year. Beautiful shade of yellow and plenty of chrome and stylish stainless accents. Nice example of 1950s styling. This car is low production, less than 4000 ever produced, and obviously a very unique and historically significant example of Americana. So here's your opportunity...
Same owner past 45 years, been in barn storage, NOT running. FE 332 Engine condition unknown but, it appears to be all there, intact and should come back to life, with pre-oiling, and all the basics checked out and gone through. It can always be overhauled if necessary? These types of engines were used for many years and have proven to be reliable, powerful and easily maintained. Radiator is out but, included. Hood hinge is off. Rolls and steers just fine, tires all hold air, most have new tubes. (Note; Rear new white-wall tire is off my other cars spare but, a decent, 14" wheel and tire will be on it).
Original Pedal Yellow paint, still has good luster, (door was repainted at some point in time) rust in rocker panels (replaceable), lower quarters and rear wheel opening lips some rust there too otherwise, solid and very straight. All very repairable. Most of the chrome/stainless is in nice shape, majority of the trim not shown I have hunted down and will be included. Car is quite complete and intact. I have a rear bumper that can be straightened and used.
Interior is nice original overall useable condition. Solid floors. Beautiful dash, nice instrument cluster. Radio looks good too! Very nice headliner, door panels. Some side glass has a crack but, not broken.
Nice original un-tampered overall condition. Good candidate to simply repair the bad stuff and preserve the rest. Again very straight body.
Sold as is where is 50621. Shipping is buyers responsibility. I can assist on this end with your shipper. No first time bidders please or at least contact me with your intentions if you have less than 10 feedback. $250.00 PayPal preferred immediately after auction ends. Balance in full within 5 days. Wire, cash, cashiers check ok for balance, checks must have sufficient time to clear. Up to 30 days to remove. Unrestored, No Warranty. Bid only what you can comfortably afford and have readily available. Seller has the right to end auction at any time. Buy it now price can be added, with your realistic offer. Be sure to get your wife's permission & or mothers permission first before bidding! Remember; unrestored and not running. I have the old Iowa title on hand for this car, and it's clear. Located in Iowa 50621
