This 1966 Dodge Charger is a one famiy example until aquired by its current owner. Initially marketed as a personal luxury car to compete with the likes of the Oldsmobile Toronado and the Ford Thunderbird, the new-for-1966 Charger included a fastback roof, flip down rear seats, disappearing headlamps, and body-wide rear lamps. The car has been refinished in black over a black interior. The Charger is powered by a 383ci V8 mated to a TorqueFlite automatic transmission. Upgrades include rear air shocks and a Willwood front disc brake conversion. Additional upgrades included a new carburetor and aluminum radiator. The wheels are polished 15 inch American Racing wheels. There are receipts for some of the work preformed.
