Car description

This 1968 Dodge Charger is a terrific mix of style, history and power. For example, it's a true restomod with a fuel-injected motor, but the base is the numbers-matching 440 V8. And the interior has an awesome classic look, but with a fresher style and cold-blowing A/C. So as you look over everything, you also start to see it's the best of everything.
The paint makes a huge first impression. It looks black in most first glances, but it's actually Dark Gray Metallic. So when the sunlight hits the deep luster and exceptionally straight sheetmetal, it really releases a sparkle like a starry night at midnight. That radiance instantly identifies this as a thoughtful custom build, and this the '68 Charger is the right place to start when making big investments in a classic. The Coke-bottle curves, hidden headlights, subtle rear spoiler, and flying buttresses all are part of a legendary look. The brightwork received plenty of attention, too, with a mirror-like presentation on the rockers, window trim, and form-fitting chrome bumpers. And the addition of the Foose alloy wheel add to the shine while also giving this an aggressive 18/20 inch font/rear stance that hints at the upgrades within.
The interior shows off more of the great classic style with very nicely integrated upgrades. It starts with the upholstery. The pleated pattern is classic Mopar, but now you have a more sophisticated two-tone that coordinates with the exterior. So it's easy to leave all the windows down on this pillarless hardtop just to give people a good peek inside. In fact, with cold-blowing air conditioning, you can enjoy this look even in the summertime. Front bucket seats and a center console w/floor shifter are the kind of classic pieces you want. There are also the right driver-oriented upgrades, like the Grant sports steering wheel and AutoMeter auxiliary readouts under the dash. But nothing gets in the way of that true vintage feeling. Even the original radio is still on display (your real driving music comes from an aftermarket AM/FM tuner in the glovebox.)
The engine bay is finished just as nicely as the rest of the car, so you'll proudly show off this pristine space. Everyone wants a big block Charger, but this one is a cut-above. It's a full custom build that starts with the numbers-matching 440 cubic-inch block as the base. But the motor has been completely rebuilt for modern times, and the FAST XFI multi-port electronic fuel injection system instantly signals that. It has been enhanced and fortified further with an INDY multi-port intake manifold, INDY aluminum heads, a Comp Cams camshaft, cast INDY valve covers, and a wicked set of headers feeding the H-pipe dual exhaust. You can also see the right supporting components, like Billet serpentine pulleys, an MSD ignition, Aeromotive electric fuel pump, and an aluminum radiator w/twin electric fans. They even thought about the placement of this monster motor with the Magnum Force engine isolator plate and added engine bay reinforcements. And speaking of strong, Mopar's A727 Torqueflite three-speed automatic transmission is one of the stoutest around. As you look underneath the car, you'll see a strong tubular A-arm front end, subframe connectors, and traction bars. Plus, with power steering, modern performance tires, and Wilwood drilled & slotted four-wheel disc brakes, you can easily understand why this looker is also a fantastic driver.
Complete with build receipts, this is the numbers-matching big block Charger upgraded to a modern street-eating machine. And in a package this slick, you know it's the kind of awesomeness you want in no one else's garage but your own. Call today!!!
