This Dart started life as a slant 6 grocery getter, now has 440 in it. The body is in great shape, no rust. The 440 has been bored .030 over, Mopar performance flat top pistons and moly rings were put in. The crank is .010/.010 over with Mopar performance bearings on rods and full groove mains. The heads are 906 castings that have been pocket ported with 077 springs. The cam is the .528 solid cam and the rockers are mechanical adjustable with corresponding push rods. The intake is the Mopar M1 with a Holley 750 vac secondary carb. The headers and the mounts are Schumaker. The exhaust is from Jegs. The engine has less than 500 miles on it. To hear the engine run, go to youtube and look up cj's car stuff. It will be in my videos idling. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiumV5bhzoo It is equipped with functioning power steering. The radiator is an aluminum one from Champion. The transmission is a 727 from a Charger with a stock converter. The transmission shifts good and uses the column shift(sleeper, I know). The rear end is the small one the car came with. The paint appears to be original and fading. If you're into patina, this one has it. There are no rust holes. There is surface rust where paint has worn off. There are a few dings here and there, but really for a car this age, it's survived really well. The car rides down the road like you're on a floating pillow. It does not handle like a new Corvette. The interior needs help. It's functional, but it needs new seat upholstery front and rear. The carpet and headliner are in decent condition. I don't believe the mileage listed is correct,it might be because the car is in good shape, but I think it's turned over. The car is located just outside of Santa Fe, NM. You're welcome to come take a look at it. I do have receipts for engine parts that go with the car. I will assist in meeting up with transporter if needed. If you have any questions, please ask.
