You are bidding on a 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 which is in incredible condition and has been well looked after since new. This is the most sorted Generation 1 Viper I’ve ever seen and it has zero issues. This Viper has had all of the normal and common issues with the generation 1’s sorted, meaning no overheating, no burning oil or oil drips. This car was originally sold and remained in Ontario since new and has a clean CarFax with no reported accidents and a clean title. I believe that I’m the 5th owner, and the previous owner did report a stone chip on the windshield which shows as minor on the CarFax. It was sorted with the adhesive process and has never been an issue for me, nor will it even show in a pic given it’s small size. I purchased the car with 62,000KM’s on it and it now sits at 79,500km’s (approx. 49K miles). Car is still being driven so mileage may vary slightly, but nothing too great. The engine was pulled and rebuilt entirely with all new Cometic seals top to bottom, thus eliminating all the normal and usual leaks that these develop from new. The rebuild was completed at 73km’s and was done by the top Mopar engine builder in the province, all receipts to show work which was done. This Viper starts, runs and idles perfectly and within the temperature range as laid out by Dodge, a real rarity for Gen 1’s which notoriously run hot. Only has ever had Royal Purple synthetic oil since I’ve owned it. This car will idle all day long and shifts perfectly through all the gears. I routinely drive this car without any issues from Toronto to Detroit and am fully confident that it could be driven anywhere without a problem.
I have spent the past 3 years bringing this car up to it’s current state which is overall in excellent condition. No expense has been spared and if it was required it was done, simple as that. I have a full binder of the work and parts which were purchased and or replaced which includes the following; new Michelin Pilot tires (all 4 and about 2500km’s ago, new brake pads all around and 2 new rear rotors, power steering pump, new clutch and actuator installed at engine rebuild, all new silicon hoses and intake box, new high-end racing plugs and wires, original rad was pulled and flushed and works as new, K & M aftermarket air filters installed, plenum box which is usually cracked was replaced with OEM, pedal covers and many more items all of which have receipts which will be included.
The only thing that a new owner may want to do is have the valve covers repainted as the colour match doesn’t show the same shade of red as I had hoped. Not a big deal, but you can see that in the engine pic it’s slightly off. I also have a box of extra parts, mostly OEM hoses and some silicone one’s, bulbs for the dash and a few extras parts. The air intake cowl on the right side has the bolt in place, but it will requiring replacing if so desired as the cowl is velcro’d in place and is fine, but the new owner can replace if desired, not a big deal but I mentioning anyhow.
This Viper gets professionally polished and buffed every year and the original paint is an 8/10 with only a couple of minor scratches/stress cracks on the rear bumper area. The front bumper and side rocker panels were repainted this year and show like new. Overall the paint on this car is mirror finish with only the factory flaws which are typical of this model. Looks absolutely stunning in black and turns heads and starts conversations everywhere. The interior is in excellent condition and the seats are in great condition with no tears, wear or rips of any kind. Both seats have had the new lumbar inflation balls replaced and the driver’s seat has been “fixed†to the floor with an aftermarket kit to accommodate my 6’2 frame. Will also come with the original hardware so it can be returned to normal without any issue. The hardtop is aftermarket and is manufactured by Autoform at a cost of $5000 CDN, it looks stunning and I’ve always left it on as it’s my preference. The soft top is also in excellent as are the side windows, it also has all 3 OEM bags like it did from the factory for the roof, back window and side windows. It also comes with the soft bar which goes into where the hardtop seats for when the top is completely off.
The dashboard was scratched and was not looking very appealing, very common with all Gen 1’s, but it was pulled, sanded and primed and painted black. This dash looks incredible and is a certain improvement from the normal crumby grey they come in, you won’t be disappointed. The stereo is apparently factory and by Alpine and the speakers seem to work just fine, but I rarely turn the stereo on as the V10 sounds incredible. This Viper is not equipped with AC, which has never been an issue for me.
If you’re looking for an excellent driving and looking Gen 1 than look no further, this one is sorted! Shifts well, drives well and is very reliable. Comes with the original manual, brochure and an entire binder of all receipts and work that I did to it. I also have a high-end car cover which I’ll throw in.
Shipping is at the buyers expense and I have an enclosed shipping company nearby which is very reputable and easy to deal with. This car can be shipped to the US at this time of COVID and I’ll gladly assist in any way I can. This Viper can also be driven anywhere, that I’m confident of.
Please email any questions and the Buy it Now is right in line with current USD values, but this Generation 1 Viper is better than most, without question. Payment in full is required before the car will be released, obviously. Bid with confidence, I’m a good a guy with a cool car that is as described within, no expense spared and shows extremely well. I’ve been on eBay since 99’ and have bought and sold cars in the past without issue. $500USD deposit due upon winning bid via PayPal. No liens on the car and clean Ontario ownership/title in hand.
