Car description

Wow, this car is exceptionally clean. Really, the closer you look the better it gets. Loaded with desirable features including cold air, power steering and power disc brakes. Has 2 original build sheets, fender tag and the #s match.
EXTERIOR: Certainly a good looking car. It has the R/T upgrades including the hood with stripe, rear spoiler, rallye wheels a d sport mirrors. The color is very handsome and unique. Factory Dark Silver metallic. The body is absolutely straight and fits really well. All the panels are square and flush. Doors shut like new. There's no bubbles or damage that I could find. The metal flake paint is laid out smooth a d has a glossy clear coat finish. All the chrome and trim is excellent. Upfront the bumper, bezels and trim are excellent, entire grill is excellent. The emblems and side moldings are excellent. All the stainless trim around the windows and gutters look like new. The sport mirrors are chromed, the door handles look new. In back the tail panel is excellent including the argent silver, taillights and bumper. It even has the correct R/T square exhaust tips coming through the valance. It has all of it's original Mopar glass. The vinyl top looks new. The door jambs a very clean, the rubber is soft. Has the original metal door edge guards and original vin # sticker. The 15 inch rallye wheels look like they're new. The white letter tires also look new.
INTERIOR: Exceptionally nice and tidy inside. The cushions are new in the seats, new upholstery fits real nice. All the side the plastic trim including side panels and console are mint, not scratched or brittle. Overhead the headliners is new, the dome light works, the visors are excellent, has the shoulder belts. The dash pad is original and it's in excellent condition with no cracks. The instrument panel area is excellent, no cracks or cuts. It does have the full rallye gauge package with the tachometer. Upgraded quartz movement in the clock. All the vents, knobs, heater controls are excellent. It has a rare factory Am-Fm radio. The glove box compartment is mint, the light even works. The ashtray is clean, the deluxe steering wheel has now wear on it. The console is mint, has a slap stick shifter. The carpet was replaced. This is possibly the nicest interior I've seen in a Challenger, not just the big items but the little pieces are mint as well. It feels, fits and functions great too. Even the seatbelt light on the dash works.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Original numbers match 318. Completely unmolested engine bay. It still has it's two barrel carb, all the wiring, vacuum hoses and even the heat riser tube are in place. Factory air conditioning system has been serviced a d updated with R134 freon, blows cold. Has power steering and brakes. Clean metal, no signs of rust or damage and it is painted the color of the car. The VIN number is on the core support, cowl, fender tag and it matches the dash and the sticker in the door. All the components on the firewall look real good. Exceptionally clean and proper. The 318 runs perfect too, starts and idles flawlessly.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Very clean original metal, it's all nicely painted the color of the car. It has a spare with a new tire. Complete jack assembly is properly mounted in place. Has new trunk mat, weatherstrip and includes a car cover. The bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted glossy.
UNDERSIDE: The bottom of this car is rock solid. Clean original metal frame rails, floor pans and rockers. They look to be really nice original. I don't see any patches, the front end has been gone through, looks like new ball joints, tie rod ends etc. Gas shocks front and back. The brakes have been redone, it is disc in front. The e-brake assembly looks complete. Nice sounding dual exhaust system. The fuel tank a d sending unit has been replaced. Bottom of the motor looks fresh, has a new high torque starter. The automatic transmission looks fresh too.
I've grown up around old cars my whole life. This car is not one of those nut and bolt restorations but it is one of the nicest cars I've been around. The mileage shows about 35,000, everything about this car says that is original. You will not regret buying this one!
