You are bidding on a Solid Southern 1979 Dodge D100 Custom Short Bed Truck. This is a Great Truck so Please watch the attached video! The truck is Black with Black Interior. The truck is all original paint and decals except for the passenger front fender and part of the passenger rear fender. I am not sure what the decal kit is but it appears to be a dealer promotion or something with the gold and white pinstripes and white Lion with a Crown. "Lion King" ?Its pretty cool looking. The interior is the bucket seats with the center jump seat that folds down to make a arm rest. It has the 318 V8 Engine with Automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes.
The truck was sold new in South Carolina and Spent its entire life there until I brought it to Tennessee recently. So this is a very solid truck with only a small amount of rust on top of the drivers Rocker panel, a small spot on the drivers floor next to the rocker as you can see in the pictures and I point them out in the video. The paint on the is really good for its age. It’s a little dull but will make a great little truck.
The truck was parked inside Several years ago (The last inspection sticker on the windshield was 1995). It does run and will lot drive but will need the brakes gone through (it has very little brakes) and could probably use a tune up. Also, the tires are very dry rotted and will need replaced.
This will make a great truck!
