Dodge Charger . Condition is Used.
1968 Dodge Charger 383 Automatic, buckets, console.XP29G8B261260I included a pic of the fender tag and build sheet so you can research this car.
The pics are recent. I took it out on the fourth of July and took some pictures.I have an Arizona title in my name. It is registered and insured.
I have had this a while, I have a few cars that I have had a while and will be selling a few when I get around to it.
It is located in Kingman ARIZONA, 86401Right off route 66I have a couple videos driving down route 66 and one on I40, if i can figure out how to post them.
This is a running, driving car that you can enjoy now. It could use a tuning and the brakes pull. You can cruise it around this summer and restore it this winter. It has power steering and manual brakes.I was told it has the original drivetrain, but i can't verify that.It was a January 16 1968 build. It does not have the vin stamped on the block, I was told they didn't start putting the vin on the block and transmission until mid 1968. The tab on engine has D 383 on it, with a 10 stamped a little lower.I am sure there are some Mopar experts who know way more than me, that is why I included build sheet, fender tag, and vin so you can research this.
It has some "Day 2" mods.Center Line wheelsEdelbrock intake and carburetorM/T valve coverselectric fuel pumpaluminum radiatorsome old FM radio tuner under the dash, original am radio in dash.I do not have the original parts, This is how I got it.
It does need a COMPLETE RESTORATION. I would like to do a graveyard cars style restoration to this, but that is beyond my ability. The floors and frame sections are solid.I took out the back seat and got some pictures of that. The roof has bubbles under the vinyl topIt had quarter panel patches put in in the late 80's or early 90's. They need to be replaced with some quality reproductions. The inner fenders and wheel lips look solid. The trunk floor is crusty, if it got dipped or blasted it will go through. The interior is all there and original, but needs to be completely redone.
You can see this in person before bidding.
If I'm not working, I will try and take it out cruising Saturday night in Kingman, on route 66 so you can see it.
Kingman is about 2 hours south of Las Vegas
High bidder wins. There is NOT a buy it now price.Cash in person, or wire transfer. Sold as is.
