I HAVE CLEAR NON SALVAGE ARKANSAS TITLE IN MY NAME. THIS CAR WILL NEED A LOT... OF RUST REPAIR. IF YOU ARE NOT UP TO THE TASK, BETTER TO PASS IT BY. BUT, IT IS A COMPLETE CAR AND THEY MAKE EVERY PIECE OF METAL NEEDED TO RESTORE IT. IT IS A 318, AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, POWER STEERING, AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPPED CAR WITH MANUAL DRUM BRAKES ALL AROUND. THERE IS SOME KIND OF FUNKY HOMEMADE ANGLE IRON BRACKET STICKING UP FROM THE OUTBOARD SIDE OF THE POWER STEERING PUMP, SO I AM UNSURE WHETHER IT CAME WITH PS FROM THE FACTORY OR SOMEONE ADDED IT ON LATER, BUT IT WORKS FINE AS FAR AS STEERING EFFORT GOES. ALL GLASS IS THERE, FRONT WINDSHIELD IS CRACKED.
THE VEHICLE STARTS, STOPS AND LOT DRIVES. BRAKES ARE WEAK AND HAVE TO BE PUMPED UP BUT THEY DO WORK AND WILL STOP IT WITH PRESSURE. I HAVE ONLY LOT DRIVEN IT (BECAUSE OF BRAKES), IT GOES INTO DRIVE AND WILL DRIVE ONTO A HAULER AND REVERSE WORKS AS WELL. I HAVE IT RUNNING OFF A 'CUSTOM' ANTIFREEZE GAS JUG MOUNTED FORWARD OF THE CORE SUPPORT WITH AN ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP SUPPLYING THE PETROL. I BELIEVE THIS IS A MATCHING NUMBERS CAR. I DON'T WARRANTY THAT IT IS AND NOT THAT EXCITING FOR A 318 CAR, BUT, I BELIEVE EVERYTHING IS ORIGINAL. NICE BLUE INTERIOR WITH THE RARE SPLIT BENCH SEAT WITH A BLUE EXTERIOR, WOULD BE A BEAUTIFUL COMBINATION RESTORED. I HAVE NOT ATTEMPTED TO DECODE THE FENDER TAG BUT HAVE INCLUDED PICTURE SO YOU MAY IF DESIRED. I BELIEVE A DEALER PROVIDED AC UNDERDASH SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED, BUT AGAIN, NOT POSITIVE ON THAT. I COULD NOT GET THE LIGHTS TO COME ON, BUT THE HORN WORKS AND THE RADIO COMES ON, BUT I HAD DIFFICULTY TUNING IN A STATION.
WITH REGARD TO RUST, SEVERAL AREAS WILL REQUIRE ATTENTION. YOU CAN SEE THE FLOORBOARDS ARE COMPLETELY SHOT AND THE REAR TORSION BAR ON PASSENGER SIDE HAS RUSTED THROUGH THE REAR MOUNT (SEE CLOSE UP), I HAVE A SMALL 2X4 WOOD BLOCK SITTING UNDER THE BOTTOM PASS CONTROL ARM TO PREVENT IT BECOMING A LOW RIDER. THEY MAKE THE COMPLETE BRACE TO REPLACE THE UNIT THAT'S TOAST. LIKEWISE, BOTH QUARTERS AND LOWER ROCKERS WILL NEED REPLACING AND THERE IS A SPOT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT LOWER BOTTOM PILLAR THAT WILL NEED TO BE PATCHED. THERE IS A 3"-4" HOLE ON THE FIREWALL THAT WILL ALSO NEED ATTENTION. LOOK THE PICS OVER CLOSELY, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO DESCRIBE EVERY NUT/BOLT AND FLAW OF THIS CAR, I HAVE TRIED TO POINT OUT THE PRIMARY DEFICIENCIES AS I SEE THEM.
