1960 Dodge 10060K Miles6 Cylinder3 Speed
Born and raised in Sonoma, California has really made a difference in its history and condition.
When it first arrived in CT it wasn't running. After some Marvel Mystery oil, lots of love and attention it has really come to life. Shout out to the team at One Stop Auto, New Haven, CT job well done!
Dropped the fuel tanks, steamed and linked, new fuel lines and filters, rebuilt fuel pump, new battery, 12 volt conversion, rebuilt generator, new plugs, points, caps, regulator. This amazing farm truck runs and drives great. Clutch is perfect, zero chatter, 3 speed column shift is smooth (slight hitch going into second gear) goes on down the road really well. Steering is amazingly tight, very minimal wander. Engine does smoke a tiny bit at start up, but I figure it deserves it!
Overall, the body is in good shape. All original paint from what I can tell, with the exception of drivers door touch up. There is zero body panel rust, but both floor pans and bottom of bed tray need attention.
Interior speaks for itself and all gauges including fuel work properly. I do have the center bow for the headliner. Windows roll pretty good, but drivers side glass needs replacing. Both vent windows are in great shape with no fogging. Windshield and all window rubber in great shape.
Engine could use more cleaning and the original air cleaner needs some attention, but will fit. I just ran out of time.
Just a great old farm truck that would really be fun for the next guy/gal.
It is an auction, so pleas respect that. Call me with any questions, I love to bullshit about old trucks.
