true xa29 69 r/t Dodge Charger in the rare but good looking f6 bright metallic green. One of the best shades of color available in 69 and still rare to find one especially in an r/t. I have been after a 69 or 70 in this color for awhile and it’s painfull to even think about letting it go but I have other chargers that need lots of $ and I’ve gotta let a few chargers go so this one is on the chopping block.
As For it’s factory options the fender tag is pictured but here’s a brief description1969 XS29 R/T Dodge ChargerF6 green with a black vinyl top and black r/t stripeBlack vinyl interior440 4 bbl automatic with console shiftA/c, power steering, power drum brakesRemote drivers racing mirror3 speed wiper motorAm radio
The paint job on this one however is not good...it’s a pretty piss poor paint job that I wouldn’t even call a driver quality as it has a few sags in the metallic and it’s blotchy. Under hood paint is good and bottom of trunk lid aswell. The front fenders are fiberglass but they fit good and lightened the car 50lbs
The drivetrain in this 69 is not numbers matching but it is a 69 HP engine so it’s date code correct. It also runs and drives great. Good oil pressure and just drives nice and smooth. It had a stock rebuild back in the early 90’s but hasn’t seen but maybe 10-15k miles on it since then.
The interior is what I would call driver quality, not show car but when clean (dirty at the moment at the storage property) it looks nice inside. The front seats are not originals but they don’t look too out of place In there.
Now the bad area’s...the trunk was replaced but poor job, quarters and rear valance were replaced but again not a great job. Good for just a driver but not professional job. Drivers side floor patch again was a poor job. The torsion support has some rust on the outer end of the passenger side and right front horn in front of the A arm is rusty. The car is what it is and just want the buyer to know what they are actually buying instead of the ads I’ve seen hiding all the bad areas
The wheels and tires are new but dated so I wouldn’t be doing land speed runs.
The car can be driven home as it’s a good driver, brakes were just done or transported. The 8 track does not go with the car. Also you can see the hood scoop was poorly attached and it broke apart. No hole was cut in the hood though. Was just cosmetic.
