Vehicle has only test drive and tuning miles since complete, better than new restoration!30mi From full Restoration.
Certified Peterson Appraisal (one of the oldest and most respected classic car appraiser in the U.S.) values it at $129,000, rating it a '10' in all categories stating: "(market comparisons) don't match the level of quality and attention to detail that is found in this car..."
Almost two years were spent looking for the best, most original and complete vehicle available to conduct this remarkable restoration.
I'm listing this as a favor for a long-time friend who shares a passion for mid-century Mopar Muscle Cars but is not experienced on eBay so I'm placing the listing for him. I am not a dealer and I have no stake in the sale. I am however, very familiar with this iconic vehicle and the nearly 4 years spent professionally restoring its truly exceptional level. NOTE: If you wish to communicate with him directly and possibly the engine builder please contact me.
The reason the owner is offering this vehicle, is that he recently received an offer he could not refuse for his business and is retiring early. Over several decades he built one of the oldest, most experienced and respected body and paint shops in the Northwest, and is well-known for his dedication to top-level service, repair and restoration of luxury and performance, collectible and specialty vehicles.
Owner estimates he has invested 2,000 man-hours and well-over the asking price to fulfill a childhood dream of his perfect 'Super-Bee', and his other dream car a 1967 GXT (https://www.ebay.com/itm/164084227923).
The reason he is selling his dream cars, is that these vehicles were created not only for his enjoyment but as an exercise in quality challenge for his skilled staff and examples of the quality his service work. As a result of sale of that business, he will soon be loosing his climate-controlled 'Toy Storage' and would like to recover some of his investment to upgrade his retirement home. As such, this remarkable vehicle, a result of love and passion, without regard to cost is now available for purchase but could change if another business deal completes that would him to keep the vehicles and construct a new "Toy Facility".
