Car description

1970 Dodge Challenger 340 T/A Six Pak. A very unique car. This is an ORIGINAL, unrestored survivor 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A 340 Six Pak. One owner and matching numbers. The T/A is also cast into the engine block. All numbers match. I have the Chrysler dealer warranty paperwork from the original dealer in South Lake Tahoe. I have the Chrysler quality control punch cards from the factory. I have the original Broadcast Sheet with all the specifications on it. I've been told that there were about 900 stick shift 340 T/A Six Pak Challengers made and that this one is the only one known that has a saddle tan interior and red body with no vinyl roof. This is therefore a "one of one" Mopar Collector car and it is in incredibly good condition. The only thing that is not original is the Mickey Thompson valve covers and I have some on order that will be installed very soon. There is no rust on it. It was stored in a garage and regularly driven and very well maintained. It is ready to drive now. It has new tires on the original rims with perfect caps and beauty rims. There is a small ding on the rear right fender that has been there for years. I've been told by a Mopar guru that since the car is so original and is such good condition that I should leave it exactly as it is with the patina of age on it as it was in the seventies. The paint is very good with a few chips in all the expected places and the interior is very good with the exception of a few cracks in the stitching and dash. Overall it is in excellent condition after it's 50 years, and drives very very well. I have a lot of photos and I can take more. Mopar people will want to see certain things and I can take more photos and they can come and see it in person.
It has been pointed out quite rightly that the antenna on these cars is normally on the rear fender. This one is on the front. The Broadsheet shows that it was ordered without a radio and one was added after it was delivered. The rear fenders are 100% original like the rest of the car and there is no evidence of an old antenna hole anywhere in the trunk.
