1935 34 33 Dodge Pickup

1935-1 Dodge suicide door 112" standard 1/2 ton pick up truck with all original metal. This truck was found on a farm up in the Sacramento Mountains over the last year where I had dreams to make it an original looking hot rod for driving pleasure. After hunting parts and repairing all the sheet metal. the pickup has a complete assembly for the next stage of life. Fast forward to date. this project truck is ready for your plans to finish this ride either as an original. hot rod or even yard art. The frame is extreamly clean and straight not molested. all sheet metal is original except the grill shell. the pickup has no wiring. fuel or brake lines and has an original Dodge 6 cylinder engine with functioning 3 speed transmission and an original rear end. The pickup also has stock suspension. springs and a set of modern wheels and roller tires. These trucks came with seat springs and a base. spare tire. wheel and hubcap and also an option for spare tire wheel cover along with a metal grill insert. all which are not part of this listing but shown for viewing purposes only. The truck also has new front glass. side glass. rear glass and of course the standard driver door glass with a crack. all controls work but the driver door lock sticks just a litte. The original gauges. steering and drivetrain are all in need of continued restoration. The headlight housings and taillight still need alittle work and are missing the interior insert and do not work. There is not radiator or ram cap. These trucks were consider pickups built to last with very little wood as part of the structure unlike Chevy and Ford and were considered glamorous looking with its lines and style. This vehicle is a great starter for someone to take it the rest of the way for a complete restoration or switch it out for a modern drivetrain. This year model was only available during the first half of 1935 before Dodge changed the body line in the second half of 1935 with a new style cab.
