1961 Dodge Dart Phoenix convertible. No engine or trans. Was a 318 poly with the 3 speed push button shift torqueflite. Has the clock option and it has power brakes and power steering. Original color was code Z "Roman Bronze" with copper interior and copper top. That was a very beautiful color combination new. Totally the opposite now. This car is VERY rusty. The rockers. rear frame rails and floors are totally rotted. There is not much holding the rear of the car to the front of the car. Very flimsy now. Bottom of the rear fenders too. This will need another doner car for all the floors. rear rails and rockers. All the convertible parts are there. The rear 1/4 glass is broken but the door glass is good. Missing the back seat and the front seat is not correct for 1961 Dodge. Looks to be from a later 60s mopar. The firewall is in very good shape. Even the data plate in nice. The car has a Washington State issued vin. From what I gather is it was common that the vin tags would fall off which and you can see it did on this car as they had only a small spot weld holding it on. A California title for the car does come with it. The rear end has been "updated. " It has the later 65 and newer drum to drum set up. Much nicer than those tapered axles. It also has a 2. 76 sure grip. Someone put in a floor shifter in it at one time and also someone put in a clutch pedal when it had a 4 speed in it. Car was last registered in 1996. In the trunk there is some extra parts and trim. But all the trim on the car is pretty good actually. The 1/4 long trim pieces are near perfect. This car is a MAJOR project. Everything on the car will need to be redone. Please see photos of car. I can send more to you if you need. For extra $$ I do have floors. rockers. frame rails etc for this car if you want to buy them separate. Cheap. 760-568-4114 is my home number and 760-391-3913 is my cell. Sean.
