1954 Dodge C1-B6 Pickup EXCELLENT DRIVER 230ci Six / 3spd Manual 116†Wheelbase VIN: C1-B6-116 C1: First Series B: Half Ton 6: 217ci Flat Head Six Vehicle Number: 82358134 Trim Tag Options: 100, 110 Engine: D42-402I53 (230ci Dodge 6) We purchased this beautiful ‘54 Dodge C1-B6 from a gentleman in Minnesota who had owned it for the last ten years. The truck had been restored before he bought it, and it served as a routine driver throughout his ownership. As it sits now, this is a very nicely sorted, clean, dry truck that is ready to be used and enjoyed by its next owner. Exterior: - Please see the video along with the listing, as the truck is shown in detail. Blemishes are all shown close-up. Blemishes include a spot on the back of the cabin where the paint is showing its age by way of light checking, a couple spots of overspray on inside weatherstripping, as well as a partial crack in the lower passenger window (does not inhibit use of window). - Paintwork, although older, presents quite well. This truck has been garage kept and responsibly owned and it shows. Step panels are nice and clean, not scuffed up and worn. Beautiful wood-lined bed is in great shape, not scuffed up and faded. Stained bed looks just right against the red and black exterior. Black vinyl bed cover is in decent shape and fits nice and snug. Two small punctures on it, bits of fraying around the outside buttons. - Doors open and close nice and smoothly, as does the rear hatch and hood. No slamming or anything like that. - Polished surfaces are all in excellent shape. Mirror-like finish, minimal oxidation or pitting. - Light lenses are clear and crack free. Lights and signals are all functional. - Wheels are free of any oxidation or damage. Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires are from 2011 and are in excellent shape. Spare is older and fairly bald, but with no dry rot. Interior: - Again, please defer to the photos and video. Interior is very nice, albeit bare-bones. Lower doors show some small scuffs, no actual damage though. Body-colored dash looks great. Seat bottom is freshly reupholstered in black vinyl and is free of any wear whatsoever. Fuel gauge and odometer are not functional. Odometer reads 71,747 miles, but we are unsure of exact chassis mileage. One-piece rubber floormat is in nice shape, with just one crack/cut. While this truck does have a heater installed under the passenger side of the dash, it does not blow air out with force. There is also a crack in the inside rear view mirror. Mechanical / Underbody: - Please take a look through the underbody photos, as the truck is shown in detail. Underbody is excellent. No rust whatsoever. - The truck runs and drives beautifully. Truly no tendencies or noises of concern. It starts right up first push of the starter pedal, idles nice and steady, pulls hard through the gears with no hesitation, shifts smoothly, has great clutch feel with no chatter, and the ride quality is outstanding. No shakes, rattles, pulling under acceleration/braking, etc. Suspension is nice and tight, eats up bumps with ease. Very much a well-sorted, confidence-inspiring driver. - While originally a 217ci six, the truck now has a 230 in it. The engine wears a tag from a rebuild, “Montgomery Ward Remanufactured, #97454, Bore .060, Rods .030, Mains .030â€, and there is record of an inspection and subsequent brake service in 2012.
