Car description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is quite an unusual find. I seem to have come across a 1992 Dodge Caravan ES with just 145k original miles. I would rate the exterior of this Caravan to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking old van. It is finished in monochrome red with factory alloy wheels. Please understand that this van is nearly 30 years old and is far from perfect. The fact that this van is even here gives it points alone. The "average" 1992 Caravan is in a junk yard on blocks. The fact that this van is here, standing ten feet tall, and actually looks decent is why it gets the above average rating. The red finsih shows some age and is not all original, but is presentable. The hood is the most noteworthy section that does not shine quite as well as the rest. However, the finish is presentable. The body lines are all nice and straight. The hood, doors, and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. There is no visible rust on the body and I didn't see anything noteworthy when I took a knee and looked under this van at the floors. The coolest thing about this van came to me when I opened the sliding door and found a car cover wadded up on the back seat!!! Someone loved this van, that's for sure. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Caravan came in. I would rate the interior of this Caravan to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. A full set of floor mats are included. The striped sport seats are clean, comfortable, and show virtually no wear. The power windows, mirrors, and locks all work properly. I cannot get the original radio to turn on. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The heater works well but the air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. This Caravan has the optional captain's chairs in the middle row, which makes moving around the interior easy. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how exceptionally well preserved this Caravan came in. Believe it or not, this time capsule of a Caravan found its way into a Dodge dealership and was traded on a brand new Dodge! Mechanically, this Caravan appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.0L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are surprisingly good! The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. The V6 makes good power and feels strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. I was shocked when I came across this Caravan and even more shocked at how nicely it ran and drove. As I mentioned earlier, these vans just don't exist anymore. I would actually drive this, it's that cool. I would actually have driven it way more than my standard road test but my teenage daughter refused to let me take her to school in it...or be seen in it at all, hahaha. I guess she just doesn't appreciate it? Anyway, thanks for looking and good luck bidding. I'll probably never get my hands on one of these again.
