I've saved a one owner 1948 Dodge Pilot House from an original farmstead in Kansas. I purchased it from the son of the original owner. It was a family vehicle, hauled wheat, and spent the last part of it's life hauling water to the farmstead that had the well go dry. The notepad on the dash shows the dates the water was hauled into the 90's. It's in really good condition, with only a little rust in the floors. Doors, hinges, steps, fenders, etc are solid. Motor does not run but turns over. Original grill guard in excellent condition along with all the stainless trims. Wood bed is covered with a steel plate. A very complete truck, less the tailgate...and they're still looking for it. Can be picked up or shipped, but will need a winch to pull it up on the trailer. Shipping at buyers expense.
