1968 Dodge Charger 440 4 Speed
This car was born a base 318 car but now has a 440 and RT badges. it is NOT an original RT.
Car has had a restoration done and there is tons of new parts on this car. The body is very straight and panel gaps are very good. Vinyl top is in great condition with only 2 minor imperfections right where it meets the rear quarter windows(See last pic).
Interior is in great shape. Seats have firm foam and the covers all look and feel good. All gauges work except factory tach. There is an aftermarket tach mounted on the column.
The underneath of this car is completely restored to better than new. Every cable, clip, nut, bolt and brake line is new. Look at the pics it is in amazing condition.
The engine bay is highly detailed and restored. Again all new or restored parts and looks great. Car runs and drives great.
I would rate this car a very high end driver. It would not take much to take this car to the show car level. The paint looks good and has a great shine unfortunately the prep work wasn't that great. You can see sand scratches here and there and places where they didn't quite feather the old paint. There are NO cheese grater bondo sand scratches just hand sanding scratches from normal prep sanding. There is one spot on the bottom of the passenger door that looks like rust (see second to last pic) That is the only spot I can find anywhere on the car and is very minimal. All the jambs and underneath paint look good.
Please ask any questions before bidding. You can email or call me at 970-985-2332. I have tons of pics and can send whatever you want to see. I did not restore this car but will try to answer any questions. There has been a lot of money and time put into this car and my reserve is very reasonable for what this car is. I encourage all bidders to come and see in person or send an inspector. I have a lift here at my house to help with inspections. I have clean clear Colorado title in my hand.
I will assist on shipping as far as meeting your shipper and help loading. ALL shipping arrangements and cost are the responsibility of the buyer. I do know a shipper who I have used a few times and they are great. I can provide his contact info on request.
I accept paypal for deposit and wire transfer for remainder or cash in person. $500 deposit due within 48 hours of auctions end and remainder within 7 days. I DO NOT sell outside the USA and DO NOT accept checks of any sort.
