1971 Dodge Challenger Convertible. All numbers matching unmolested car with one repaint. This car was just purchased about a year ago from the original owner here in Pittsburgh who owns a large chain of local jewelry stores. The story goes it was a gift from his wife and he did his best to preserve it over the years using it only in fair weather driving. He had it Ziebarted annually and it worked it still retains all its original sheet metal which is far and few between on these old Mopars. Just check out the pics of the trunk floor, for a convertible, that is unheardof. (I do have a trunk mat, took it out for photo) It had a repaint some ten years ago and still shows well, with just two or three small dings and finger nail chips (which were touched up) ask I'll send close ups but barely noticeable. Carpet, sill plates and front seat covers are believed to been replaced at time of repaint and they added the stripes as well at the time. Has some nice options as well such as power steering, FE5 Rallye Red paint, P37 power top, C16 floor console and more. Odometer shows 98,000 miles and have no reason to believe it not to be accurate. Nice turn key driver, drive it home. You are most welcome to view this car before bidding and auctions end. Call / text me anytime to make a time and or with any and all questions. I think that about covers all I can think of, I am going to include a boat load of pictures. Although once you bid, you are bidding to own not come take a look at it. I have sold a ton of vehicles, all 100% feedback because I hope that you can say you never met a more stand up guy... But that being said I have had a few bad apples on the other end over the years and won't tolerate BS. $500 non refundable deposit due at auctions end (within 24 hours) via Pay Pal. Buyer responsible for picking up and or having car shipped. If you do not have the money in hand and immediately available do not bid. If you have a sick family member that may take a turn for the worse, same thing, refrain from bidding. It's a shame I have to say these things, which to me are common sense, but after selling cars on here for almost twenty years, nothing ever surprises me. It is for sale locally and I have the right to end the auction at any time. Travis at 412-974-6789.
