Car description

First i want to make it very clear this car does not have a title. My state does not require a title on vehicles 1985 and older. If yout state requires a title you will have to apply for a title. Yhere are title companies out there who can do this for you...to make myself very cleae this car does not come with a title...About the car,This car was found in texas where it had been parted out over 20 years ago. When i purchased this car it was basically a shell with the dash in it and some beat and rustt body panels. The only good remaining original body panel is the passenger door. With that said over the course of the past year i have been searching for replacement body panels to put this body back together with rust free and collision free parts. It has taken a year but i am happy to know i have accomplished the task. The car now wears all rust free collision free bolt on body panels including deck lid, hood, fenders, and doors. The front valance is not rusty but does have some minir dents. Honestly since the front valance is the only bolt on body part that js reproduced for a 1972 demon/dart i would go ahead and put a new one on.As far as the shell it will need floor pans, lower quarter repair (some people prefer replacing entire quarter rather than doing the lowers) trunk extensions, and the little braces and brackets that weld to the extensions. The tail panel has some rust on the corners and a little on the top where it connects t9 tue trunk gutter...the tail panel could repair but again some people rather replace it...i have installed a brand new AMD trunk floor that is partially welded in. I have not welded to the tail panel yet because i had not decided to replace the tail panel or not.The rest of the body is good including the frame rails, rockers, firewall, cowl, inner fenders, core support, torsion bar cross member, roof, ect...this car is a good builder will make a nice car.It is a factory top banana yellow car with black deluxe interior and bucket seats and console factory (seats and console are not included because i have not found them yet). As well as the performamce hood treatment package with the dual snoorkle scoop. The scoop i hsve for the car is not original to the car but it is an original OEM 72 scoop. There are no broken stud bosses or any that have been repaired. It is a nice piece...The grill is super nice compared to most. The only damage i know of ks one tab is broken on the passenger side and the center mounting tab where it attaches to hood latch t bar is broken but i have those pieces to make the repair. Also there is tye typical crack at the latch opening but not missing pieces and easy to repair...i only have one tail light lense. There is no steering column in the car currently but i have one to include. When i bought this car we put a 70 duster /6 k frame wity manual steering in it to move it. It now has the correct V8 k frame with power steering in it but the column i bought for it is for a manual steering car. I have an extra column shift column for power steering that can be uses to conveet the correct column to power steering. Take just a few minites to do it. The 8 3/4 was also missing so to roll it i rolled a 7 1/4 rear end under it so that i could install a set of correct small bolt pattern ralleys on the car. Also the original drive train is missing as well. So there is no engine or transmission included. The body numbers, vin plate, and fender tag all match authenticating this original 340 auto car...I think i have listed everything i can thing of. Any question feel free to ask.I am not setting a reserve on this car. If the winning bid is high enough which i will not disclose the magic number...as a bonue i am going to include nearly $1300 in bramd new AMD sheet metal for this car...the only piece you will have to buy to finish the body is the floor pan...Winning bidder will pay an immediate deposit of $1000. The balance of the winning bid amount will be paid in cash when the vehicle is picked up. If i must hold the vehicle longer than 5 days awaiting pick up the remaining balance can be paid to me through paypal but be prepared to add 3 percent to thst amount to cover addditional paypal free...the first fees for the deposit i will cover. I will not arrange any shipping. If you plan to ship i will assisting with loading the car as needed but i will not make any calls to arrange shipping...Happy bidding and someone will get a very good car to build
