Mr Ts A Team Three Custom Tandem Van

Welcome to my auction Of this Iconic VanWhat i have here is a truck i was searching for for a long time . With the help of some good friends I was able to locate it long story short it now lives in New Jersey and was original found inChicago . As it turns out i have one to many Projects and i don't want this getting any worse then she is .Once owned my the ActorLaurenceTureaud"Mr T" and was used to commute back and forth to Californiato Chicago . From what i know he had commissionedto have built by California Tandem vans .The Actor was best know as B.A. Baracus in the TV series A team, and the Movie Rocky II among a great many other Movies and appearances. At some point the Van was sold to some one else and kept it tillhis passing and then she sat in limbo .It had a custom T top installation back in the day full interior and two alarmsystems in witch i removed to get the van started with a key .It will require a full restoration including metal work to the roof and the T top areas . A leak accruedwhen some one helped them selves to the TV and audioand Boomerang antenna . This cause the wood and material to deteriorateinside the ceilingof the custom interior .The chassis from the bottom looks very clean and solid . When i got the paper work the Mileage was unknown but the state of NJ requires a number so i put whats on the odometer . It will need metal work to the drivers side roof line nearly all the way bac, the T top area, and the fiberglass repairs to the wheel well flairs plus body work It needs Restoration inside and out. I made a temporary fiberglass patch to keep out water on the side roof .It still retains all the Kelsey Hays wheels from the original build .
