Car description

What we have here is one of the loophole-abusing Dodge Li'l Red Express Trucks. In the late 70's Dodge got a great idea to slap an engine out of their old police cruisers into a truck that was heavy enough to not be held to the same restrictions as all the other vehicles at the time. Similar thought process that led them to slapping the SRT-10 Viper engine into everything in the 2000's and the Hellcats into everything today. Gotta love ambitious gearheads.
- Rust? Yeah there's a bit of rust. It's a 40 year old truck.
- Does it Run? Possibly. What should be in the engine bay is currently in a few milk crates. Though we hooked it up to a 4,000 volt jumper pack and it spun without hesitation. There is a "remanufactured" tag on the engine, so it may be in better condition the other truck we're working on. I would recommend an oil change.
- Condition? A bit on the rough side. This truck was picked up as part of an estate sale, and I've been pulling a few parts off here and there to put on the other truck. With the amount of boxes of parts included you should have most of a truck here.
- What the hell am I supposed to do with a parts truck? Glad you asked. Since this truck was left in a barn for about 12 years (as we were told by the estate sale) it would need a lot of spit shine to get it back to "perfect" Li'l Red Express standards. Orrrrr you could continue to tear it down and sell the remaining parts. Orrrrr you could really get in the Dodge spirit and prepare it for the brand spankin' new 1,000 horsepower Mopar Hellephant crate engine coming out in about a month or so. Which, to be honest, is kinda what we're considering if this doesn't sell by the time we finish the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda we're restoring. You put a Hellephant in this thing and you could have a $70,000 truck on your hands. Or we could do it, suit yourselves.
- Something about a Trailer? Oh yeah, if you want you can have the trailer it's currently on. There are ramps for the trailer, all lights work, and it has the emergency brake kit installed. If you don't want it then knock $1500 off the sell price. I would then however suggest you bring a trailer of your own.
In conclusion, you know you want this truck. It has a ton of potential. Bring cash and great stories. And if you robocall or spam me with bullshit offers to sell this for me, I'm going to find where you live, cut your Achilles tendons, then light your house on fire and use the flames to grill S'mores in your front yard.
