Car description

I never thought I would actually do this, but it's time to move on to something bigger.
This has traveled to 48 states, more than 1 time. I bought it 5 years ago from a younger guy who did a road trip in it to all 48 states before he went off to be a lawyer. We have used this van to travel countless trips. We have taken it out west to Telluride for a Ski trip. We have taken it to Maine, down to North Carolina and then home. It has been to Florida multiple times. It has traveled the east coast on a 9 day excursion. It has been on the backroads of Colorado. Brimfield antique show in Mass. Multiple trips to Electric Forest music festival in MI. The list goes on and on.
Yes I have towed with it, it has a hitch and electrical. I have hauled an enclosed trailer and it has never failed.
This is one reliable van, that if taken care of, will last a long time to come.
There is TONS of paperwork from previous owners! Check out the photo
One time it broke down on me about 50 miles from home. It turned out to be a clogged cat. The cat has since been gutted and a nice muffler was replaced at the center section. It also has a new 02 sensor. This was about 3 years ago. The van is not loud or noisy at all.
THE MILEAGE IS NOT CORRECT - THE ODO IS NOT WORKING - I SUSPECT 200k+
The van is clean for it's age, gets plenty of compliments and has a few minor issues.
Some paint peeling in spots. Mainly one one side and on the roof. I think it was repainted in it's lifetime.
I replaced the hood because the original was badly sun damaged and did not have a badge. Front end and hood painted with textured paint for durability.
There is NO AC. I lived for many years without it. The heat DOES WORK HOT. The blower van is weird sometimes. Turn it on off and a combo of such, it will work fine.
The radio ate the cassette for player aux. It won't eject. The speakers are blown in front left door. Never used then, always had portable.
Cruise control not working, never has since I owned it.
Windshield wiper arm needs work. They broke a couple years ago. I used rainX. It needs new bushing and clips I believe.
Small drip from pass side radiator. Never was an issue. It's very very slow and small. Usually only drips after driving and stops.
The fan probably should be replaced. When hot outside the van (sometimes) will warm up at idle. Never overheated, drives super cool below middle when driving down the road.
Oil always changed 3k - 5k with maxlife during my ownership.
General things like spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, etc have been done.
New tires all around within the last year.
New brakes about 3 years ago.
There are cracks in the windshield
Small dent from me hitting a trash can on the side of rear entry door (seen in photo)
Metal small bent at door pass side. Always was like this, tried to fix, door wouldnt close if I fixed it. Gives it character.
In the winter time when cold you sometime have to give it a little gas to warm up when starting.
Power windows and locksRuns and drives greatNo weird noises
I've lived out of it for up to 9 days. Its basic, and works great. Small custom built cabinet drawers. Back seat folds down to good size sleeping area.
I'm being honest, it's not a show car, but a damn good van. Ask any questions you have. We sure will miss this one.
