Car description |

Thank you for checking out our auction. My name is Shawn and I am assisting the owner of this Charger in finding a new home for it. The owner of this Dodge Charger is a good friend of mine by the name of Bill. A retired veteran who has only owned a handful of old muscle cars over the course of his life. He has been devoted to this Charger for the better part of its existence. Approximately thirty-four years. It is a numbers matching "H" code car (383/335HP 4 barrel) that came loaded with options. It is a true SE silver/black interior car that is turn key and ready to enjoy. Located below, you can hear from the owner himself as we chit chat about how he came to own it, when he started restoring it, how long it took to get it restored, his assessment on the quality of the body & paint, his fondest memory in the Charger, why he has decided to sell it, and much more.
Numbers Matching 383/335HP 4 barreL
- Special Edition SE
- Silver/black vinyl top
- Air conditioning & heat
- Power brakes
- Center console w/ woodgrain
- Power windows
This is a very straight car that retains 95% of its original sheet metal. The only metal that has been replaced was done so within the very lower sections of the quarters. The body and paint work was done right. There is some minor blistering within the bottom of the drivers side quarter and within the deck filler panel (please see photos). The glass & stainless through out are in excellent condition. The grill has been redone and is also in excellent condition.
Everything within this Charger has been gone through. The original numbers matching 383 was pulled and completely rebuilt by Anderson Racing. One of the biggest items Bill loves about this car is that it never gives him any problems. He can hop in, hit the key, and it fires up every time. It has no mechanical problems. The transmission shifts out smoothly with out any hesitation. The car steers and brakes in the exact same manner.
The interior of this Charger is nice and comfortable. Bill spent a portion of his career in HVAC and converted the AC. Naturally, the AC & heat work exceptionally well. Through out the interior, all of the electrical components work well with the exception of the rear drivers side window.
I have sold a few Mopars over my time which is one of the reasons Bill asked me to assist him in this process. Bill is a private owner and is not a dealer nor collector. This is the only collector car he owns. This is a nice car that has spent the last thirty four years in a climate controlled environment. Located within the body of this auction, you will find over 140 photos as well as video. This Charger does come with its original build sheet as well as a clear title. I do have this Charger for sale locally and will end the auction early should it sell prior to the auction ending. I strongly recommend calling or texting before the final day of the auction. If you need assistance with shipping, just let me know. I do have experience with national as well as international shipping. Good luck & happy bidding.
