This Dodge Pick-up Power wagon 1 Ton has a 9' bed, it is two tone Red and Black with 53,329 original miles on it. I was told a factory in Haverhill, Mass. bought this truck in 1947 new and used it until 1953 when they had to buy a big rack body truck for it's growing business. The 1947 was parked in the back of the factory inside from 1953 to 2016. It was parked and covered for 63 years and then I bought it. It had no rust anywhere! I started the restoration on it, took the bed off and the front end off the frame but not the cab. I painted the body and the fenders, it has an all new front end, brakes front and back. We opened up the transmission and put new gaskets, and a new clutch, pressure plate and throw-out bearing. A friend in a Salem NH machine shop rebuilt the pistons, valves and valve seats make for regular gas. The truck had no running boards, no back bumper so we custom made a back bumper and we found some 9' running boards and custom made the front grill guard. We adapted the sun visor to the truck and custom made the spare tire holder that is attached to the running board and the bed. The bed has the original oak boards in the bed already painted black so we repainted them black and put in all new hardware. The dash board and interior is original red paint. The tool box is vintage and is strapped to the running board with an antique lock and I have the key. This truck has road flares on the side of the bed. It has Wagnor Trailer brake but it is not hooked up.The truck also has 6" Dodge fog lights that work and 1940's 4" bubble glass reflectors with no cracks on the rear bumper. The front seat is original and not touched, all the gauges work and all the lights work, directional s and hazards. The front bumper is original, the hood has holders for both sides. The exhaust is custom built with both stacks with working rain caps. The split rims were cleaned and new 10 ply tires put on, the lug nuts have chrome caps. The head liner and door panels are new and well as the floor mat.As you can see this truck never had any rust ever and it is by far the cleanest one I have ever seen. You won't be sorry bidding on this one!If you want to come by and see and drive it you are welcome to. It is registered and insured for $36,500 and the reserve is set far below what it is worth.
