Up for auction is a restored 1954 Dodge M-37 military Power wagon. It has been restored to better than original condition. All accessories shown are included with the purchase. It drives, starts, runs and stops as it would have in 1954. The brakes and steering are tight. No smoke, 60 psi oil pressure. The pictures do not do it justice, every nut, bolt, screw, hose clamp and fuse holder have been removed, soda blasted and zinc plated. Every sticker, name plate and decal is properly and perfectly placed in its original position. It is 99% original all the way down to the dodge brothers stamp on the bolt heads. I say 99% because the deviation from OEM is the addition of a battery disconnect switch and the addition of an electric fuel pump. It is as clean underneath as it is everywhere else with no detail forgotten including the original first aid kit, jack and tool kit.I would have no reservations about driving the truck anywhere I would take a brand new vehicle except for the fact that the top speed is 55. This is a guaranteed head turner at shows. There are two blemishes in the paint, one is just below the speedometer where the paint has flaked in an area about the size of a quarter and is visible in the gauge cluster picture. The other area is a small patch on the passenger side wheel flare where the paint failed to adhere to the primer. This area is in total about half the size of a dollar bill and should both should be an easy touch-up.Clear NC title.Shipping available with clear payment.
