Car description

1993 Dodge W250 12 valve Cummins diesel 4X4, LE package extended cab, and automatic transmission with factory auxiliary cooler,87,500+ miles, 3.55 gears,100% rust free, power everything - everything works (factory radio works sometimes, needs replacing.) Truck was owned a long time by a friend's elderly neighbor who pulled a small fifth wheel back years ago. My buddy bought it from his family after he passed.

This truck drives/rides far better than any first gen I have owned. It steers perfect, no typical Dodge wandering, stops perfect, drives straight, has cold a/c, burns no oil, mechanically it needs nothing. No shakes, shimmies, pulling, etc....It rides great and seems much quieter than most. All the fluids were changed transmission, transfer case, axles etc...brakes serviced, new tires installed all approximately 3000 miles ago. It needs nothing, it's ready to hit the road again. I drove this truck from the Pacific Northwest to the Bay Area, CA to Santa Fe NM to Austin Tx (2800 miles) in 3 days last year.

As typical of Dodge, the paint was fading, especially on one side where he parked the truck. I planned on keeping this truck so I decided to professionally paint the truck - this is not a cheap Maaco paint job. The truck was stripped down to the metal on nearly the entire vehicle side, hood, and top. The truck was repainted minus the one strip on the bottom of the driver's bedside since as it was near perfect and the bed interior is original has some slight surface just from the bed mat rubbing. It had a bed mat but I used it to set a piece of equipment on and it got torn up. There are several small dents on the top of the tailgate. I do have photos of the original paint before it was stripped if you would like to see them. Slight ding/bend on the front bumper, it's hardly visible. I removed the bed caps when it was painted and a bug deflector. It still has the full width - side to side mudflap. I can remove that if need be.

The interior is all original and in excellent condition. The optional premium bucket seats shows very little to no wear even on the side seat bolster. Back seat area likely never had anyone back there. Everything works minus the radio which is finicky - I was going to replace it with a newer Bluetooth unit but that is such a subjective item. Cold A/C, power everything, windows locks, mirrors, etc... as it is an LE model. The carpet and upholstery are near perfect. The very rear corners of the extended cab headliner are starting to fall, but not in the way. There is a mark and two small holes on the dash where I believe a compass was once mounted. There are no cracks - I was going to add a dash cover to prevent sun damage.

It's a 25 year truck with 87,000+ original miles, not perfect but it's got to be one of the best around. It drives far better than any First Generation Dodge I have ever driven. It's not beat, rust-free, and clean, I would be shocked if someone would be disappointed with this truck. I'm selling several vehicles I have collected over the years as my area of interest has changed. I may be listing my 1992 W250 Cummins with 110,000 miles some time later this week. I recently sold my 1948 Dodge Power Wagon on ebay and the buyer was more than thrilled when he received it. Please ask questions, I will honestly answer to the best of my ability, I'm not a car salesman, nothing to hide here. You are welcome and encouraged to see the truck in Austin, Texas.

The truck is being sold as is, where is, no warranty expressed or implied. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due immediately after the auction. Please have your finances in order before bidding. The remaining funds must be paid within 72 hours via wire transfer or certified funds. Under no circumstance will the vehicle or wa title be released until I am satisfied that all funds have cleared. I am not a dealer, no hidden fees.

Shipping is solely the responsible of the buyer. I am happy to pick a buyer up at the Austin Airport if the buyer would like to drive the truck home, pending my schedule.
