RARE DAYTONA SHELBY, TWO OWNER, 2.2L I4 TURBO, 5SPD

Chrysler teamed up with Carol Shelby to create this glorious turbocharged 4-cylinder gem. If you're a Mopar fan, you know how special this car is, it looks as good as it performs. Finding a Daytona in this condition is becoming increasingly difficult. This particular Daytona is1 of 281 made with these options in 1989.
Two owners have cherished this car for the past 30 years and it shows. The Daytona Blue paint is in really nice condition having been resprayed four years ago. Proper Shelby decals were also reapplied. The interior is also in good condition with only some modest wear on the driver's side seat bolster. Other minor imperfections do exist, please note that this is a 30 year old vehicle and has been driven. Its not a museum quality car, its a driver that looks and performs great for what it is. Yes, it has the occasional faded part or small paint bubble, piece of cracked trim, etc. I try to be as honest as possible with the listing and encourage a pre-purchase inspection. The car is typical of what you'd see in a 10 year old car, and much nicer that most 30 year vehicles. Engine uses no oil. Power steering has a leak and driver's side floor pan was patched. Underneath you can see that it was previously undercoated. This car was truly loved and enjoyed. The only obvious modification is the addition of a newer Sony CD player in the dash. Please note the mileage is listed as 99,999 but is estimated to be less. The odometer stopped working around 2014 and currently shows 57,000 miles on the dash.
