Car description

Description

Hello I am selling a 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger 318 automatic A/C disk brakes with 8-3/4" gear ratio 276 single pull.Exterior paint code GY9 Dark Gold Metallic with White Vinyl top code # V1W. This car has a clear title on non op in my name. It runs and drives wonderfully with no visible fluid leaks. This Dart is super straight with no rust. Still retains original sheet metal. Check out the body lines, they are straight and it appears this Dart has never been in any accidents. This Dart has surface rust at the driver's and passenger floors in a small minute area . I used a wire brush on the surface rust and treated it with Jasco prep and prime. This car has a solid foundation for restoration or use it like it is as a daily driver. Also, I used epoxy primer over the original Dark Gold Metallic paint to protect it from the weather. I left the stainless steel off the front windshield and back glass. Likewise, I placed the stainless steel in the trunk with the windshield wiper arms and the original spare jack.Missing rear seat inner seat belts. The front windshield has very light scratches in a small area not in the view of the driver. All inside and outside lights work. The gauges register correctly except for the speedo and oil pressure gauges. The dash pad has been recovered and has nice door panels. Mechanically, I performed a 3 angle valve job, serviced the heads, and serviced the deck of the block. I pulled the oil pan, checked the rod bearing and main bearings, all checked out well. For the hell of it, I installed a new Melling oil pump and then overhauled the carburetor, installed a new vacuum advance on the distributor, and installed new spark plugs. I serviced the transmission with new ATF fluid and a filter. Also, I set the reverse and fist band adjustment and second and third band adjustment to proper specifications. Lastly, I boiled out the radiator and fuel tank and installed new Hancook tires. The front end just needs new ball joints.
