Plum Crazy II 1964 Dodge Dart Drag Car Survivor from California with 26,700 miles and a rock solid body
Sponsored by Howard Taylor Dodge of San Diego CA
Raced at Lions, Orange County Carlsbad Drag Strips
Held Jackpot for 2 months at Lions running in the high 12s
Put in storage in 1972 and back on the strip in 2018 for the first time in 46 years
Original Cragars are included with original M&H Racemaster slicks from the 60s
Steel wheels with new M&H Vintage Drag Slicks also included as shown
Headman Headers, Hay's Electronic Ignition, Weiand Intake, Crower Cam, VDO Gauges, Monroe Shocks, A-1 904 reverse valve body, 8 3/4 Sure Grip with 5:13, Arias Forged Pistons, Holley 650cfm 2 barrel modified, Horstan Cool Can, Deist Racing Harness plus original paint and decals.
This is exactly as this was raced back in the 60s and early 70s. It was raced at the Meltdown Drags in Byron IL last summer
The front bumper has only 2 brackets holding it in place. The front fenders are really thin and have indentions on the top from elbows. There must have been an inner layer of the fenders removed. One rear quarter lip is cut out to fit the tires.
1 breather blew off at the races and we had to use a makeshift throttle return spring as shown.
