1965 Dodge Pickup Truck D200 Sweptline 2wd 383 auto Custom Cab

Up for auction is a barn find 65 Dodge D200 2 wd pickup. It is the custom cab model so it has the white steering wheel and dash moldings. And the stainless drip rail molding along with the full body length moldings. At some point it received a 383 4 barrel engine as they were not manufactured with 383's until 67. It is a 727 automatic. The truck does run but it needs tlc. It has been sitting for at least 10 years. It has 3 fuel tanks and I have no idea how much old fuel is in them. We run it on a can direct to the fuel pump. There is no back glass because it had a crawl thru camper on it when I found it. The camper was trash. so we removed it. I have the glass and will include it with the truck. This truck does have rust in the bottom of the doors and also the lower rockers below the doors. It probably has some in the floor boards as well but I did not peel the rubber mat back to check. The box and front sheet metal appear to be in very solid and straight condition. The paint is garbage. The grille is chrome and really straight but it has rust pitting on it. There is no tailgate. The tires are holding air and are pretty much rollers only. The seat will need to be reupholstered and the sun visors are bad. It has aftermarket delay wipers and cruise control. I have no way of testing the cruise control. but the delay wipers do work. I am sure there are some things I have overlooked. But if you are looking for a good candidate for a refurbished classic work truck. here it is. Ask any and all questions before you bid.
