Car description

I have a rare Dodge Lancer Station wagon. I believe there were only about 7000 of these built. I'm sure there aren't many left. This one has been reconditioned over the past year. Has a rebuilt 225 slant six. Head was machined and decked .070 to get the compression up. I installed a .498 solid lifter Hughes cam, lifters and stiffer springs. I added a clifford 4BBL intake and an Edelbrock 600 carb. I put electronic ignition on also. This thing runs awesome. I added headers and a new exhaust as well. I did not do anything with the push button automatic, because it worked well and shifted flawlessly. The original interior was in decent shape except the seats and carpet. So, I replaced those items and cleaned the rest. The wheel cylinders and brakes were replaced just before I got the car, so I cleaned and adjusted everything. I did replace the master cylinder as it was leaking inside the car. Shocks are new. Gas tank and fuel lines were cleaned and a new sending unit installed. I also had the paint and body work straightened out. It is original white with blue candy pearl added to the clear. You can't tell unless its in the sunlight. Then it is a faint blue that accents the body lines. Pretty cool. The wheels and tires are new with about 500 miles on them. All glass is in great shape. All windows roll up and down like new. All lights, heater, wipers and even the original radio work. The gas and temp gauges do not work. I had a shop look at the issue and turns out the gauges are bad. I have been looking for replacements, but have only found the black ones and not the white. This car is ready to go anywhere. Runs down the road 75 mph straight and also stops straight. I took this car to a show a few months ago and it took me 3.5 hrs to get away from it and look at the other cars. Lots of folks stopped and wanted to know what it was, or they learned how to drive a push button. Most people had never seen one. My wife got the biggest kick out of it.
