1955 Dodge Royal

1955 Dodge Royal “Custom” edition, rare 270 cu in HEMI “Super Red Ram” engine, auto trans with cool dash mounted shifter, American Racing 15 in aluminum wheels, new 195/70/15 front tires and 215/60/15 rear tires, originally was white/red exterior from factory, the black/white interior in pretty good condition with a factory radio delete, the engine starts right up, but probably needs a carb as its not adjusting that well. The engine does smoke at initial start up, but nothing embarrassing. New spark plugs, spark plug wires, oil/filter changed, was attempting to change the cap/rotor, however didn’t get a chance to find the set on the internet, I do believe it has a dual point distributor. The driver’s side front door window is cracked, but still rolls up/down freely. The body does need attention, although the trunk and floor pans are in decent condition. Bumpers do have some pitting and light surface rust, but are otherwise straight. I originally bought this car as a project, however I am unable to continue with it since I’m experiencing financial problems now. The car has its original owners manual, I will include an extra set of keys and some extra parts as well, including the missing exterior trim pieces which are seen in the pics. It’s a perfect running project that work can be performed while still getting the cruising fun out of it and what a fun ride it is!
