Car description

This car was a barn find about 2 yrs ago, has original build sheet, owner ID, original manual, all the original metal and pieces, original interior and everything works. Car is completely mechanically restored and can drive anywhere reliably andsafely. Brand new tires and rims, new exhaust, all DONE RIGHT.

Found inDavidsonville MD, car was sitting in the barn for close to 15 years. It ran great after a little work but decided to pull motor to replace oil pan gasket and rear main seal. The motor looked great inside, no wear in cylinders and still had cross hatching in bores so nothing was done with the short block/ rotating assembly.
Some performancewas added.... a factory 4 barrel intake manifold installed and sent the Cam shaft off to Schneider Racing cams and had them regrind cam to what they recommended which was there 264F grind.. still a solid lift cam with .264 duration/ .450 lift on exhaust and intake. Engine was reassembled with New Melling oil pump, Cloyes timing set, re-grind cam, new lifters, new dual valve springs and of course all new gaskets. Also has TTI headers and a quick fuel 600 double pumper. Schneider guess on HP was just around 300.
While motor was out the engine bay was painted with a 1968 LL1 Metallic Turquoise so had some mixed up and stripped, primed and painted bay. Also re did the front suspension, and brakes.
The only thing that was not replace was lower control arm bushings because I was planning on putting QA1 lowers on the car like I did with uppers but ended up needing to get car rolling before I had ordered them. Everything else is brand new in suspension and brakes. The torsion bars are new as well and are Mopar performance 0.96. The transmission also is freshly rebuilt by Kenny Keller of Yorktown at the same time I got a PTC 2800 stall converter to go with cam.

There is less than 2000 miles on drive-train. The frame is perfect with zero rust and the body is one of the straightest ones you will find. Weatherstripping on the doors fell apart years ago and as you can see in the pics just the outside spots of the lower doors rusted. This has been treated and the car comes with a perfect 1966 Coronet replacement door for someone to do the repairs while keeping the metal era correct.
The Coronet runs excellent, handles as it should and is a daily driver that I trust to go anywhere! Very cool car with all the right docs.Buyer responsible for all shipping costs.Thank you for considering my listing!
