1969 Dodge Charger
Vin # XP29G9B173492
Triple Green Car
California Car
Here is the Charger you have been waiting on.This Charger was originally sold in San Leandro California. This is anon-matching numbers car. The car has a 383, which was the same size as the original motor. The build sheet will come with the car.I purchased this Charger back in 2004.She was my pride before the children. The Charger has been inside my garage for the 14 years I owned her.She has been very well kept.I will do my best to list the condition and the updates.
The motor has been rebuilt along with the transmission. There have been approximately 2200 miles since the rebuild in 2009.This car was driven to shows, cruise nights and just fun drives around town. The 8 ¾ 942 case rear end has a Sure Grip that has new clutches installed.I also installed Yukon Gear 3.55’s. It also has Mopar Green Bearings. The driveline was also balanced at this time.
The suspension, brakes, interior, and paint is original to me.The suspension looks like is original and will need new bushings to have the car aligned.I stopped driving her when the alignment went out. The brakes are now a manual setup with drum brakes all around. The car is an originally a power brake setup.Since the motor was rebuilt the power brakes no longer have the vacuum from the engine to suffice proper braking.I tried the vacuum canister and an electric pump, which weren’t adequate for my liking.Hence I just put on a manual setup. This is a torsion bar suspension setup. Also, it has a front sway bar attached.Everything is original that I can tell. The shocks are original to me.It has air shocks in the rear. Please see pictures for details.
The interior needs upholstery. The headliner is in good condition if you like green.I installed a cd player in the dash along with speakers in the doors.I will send the original radio and the bezel can be found on eBay if want to go original.I have attached a tach and a manual oil gauge to make sure engine reads correctly. The vacuum headlight switch is broken and will send a new switch with the car. The headlights do work. The car seats six and has all the seatbelts. This is a manual window and locks car, also a non-air conditioned. It is a three speed on the column torqueflight automatic. Please see the pictures for the condition on the interior.
The body of the car is in good condition. It’s mostly straight except for a few dings where the wife’s car door opens. The paint is not original but has a repaint similar to the paint code.I cut and buffed the car a few years ago to bring back the shine. I also took apart the grill area and repainted and replaced a few parts on the vacuum headlights. The vacuum headlights do work as well as the high and low beams. The rust areas are common for these chargers. The trunk floor will need to be replaced as well as the lower rear quarters. The sail panels will need some attention as well as below the rear window. The floors appear to be in great shape and the wheel wells still have undercoating. Please see pictures for details.
The motor was where I sunk a lot of time and money. The idle of this car will tell you everything about what type of attention you will receive. The heartbeat of this engine comes from an Isky Racing Cam.Which also doesn’t provide enough vacuum for the brakes. I will simply make a list of parts and specs for all the engine components. Also will send the file with all the receipts.
1970 383 block.Shot pinged for strength. Decked and bored .10 over. Also, pressure tested. New cam bearings installed.

I have described the condition of this car to the best of my knowledge. Please see the attached pictures for your own description. If you are a Mopar person you already know what you are getting into. These cars are getting rarer by the year. They sell junk for high dollars. This car needs alignment and probably some bushings. I will answer any questions that anyone may have. The winning bid will have to arrange shipping. Thank you and God Bless.
