1992 Dodge D150 truck with 5.2 magnum motor.
Truck odometer shows 158xxx but doesnt work. Bought the truck and had the trans rebuilt with all the best clutches and steels, and an upgraded front drum to hold an extra clutch pack. Trans is a A518 overdrive trans. Rearend has been upgraded with 4.10 sure-grip with the correct Mopar Performance unit so the RWAL still works. Engine is a 5.2 magnum that does not currently run, but within the last 500 miles received a rebuilt set of heads with minor port work and hard exhaust seats, a ported factory keg intake with plenum resealed, and a Comp Cams camshaft that is nearly the biggest cam you can run with stock springs and stock computer. Cam specs are: 199/205 @.050, .480/.480 lift, 112 LSA. Truck was a daily driver, made good power, sounded good as it has a Flowmaster muffler. Truck has also been lowered about 6 inches, brakes rebuilt, steering aligned. Truck has cruise control (doesnt work), no radio just listen to the motor sing. The body is in good shape, just classic 90s Dodge peeling paint. We were debating leaving as is and doing a "rat rod" shop truck or stripping down and repainting. Because decision hasnt been made its being left as is.
As I noted the truck does not currently run. I was driving to work one day and hear clicking, tried to limp it in and it seized and died. Havent worked on it since. Because I reckon I was going to have to tear into the motor, I picked up a 5.9 magnum thats in decent shape. I was going to ring and bearing the motor and put the fresh topend on it and drop it in. Same amount of work as fixing whats in it and picks up 40 cubes. This is included with the sale.
Also included is a 77 440 that comes with Speed-Pro pistons that needs to be rebuilt. Pistons will put the motor right at 10:1, and included is a Mopar Performance .509 cam and Edelbrock Performer 440 intake, and 750 holley DP carb. If you really want this truck to scream, put the BB in it.
Because there is debate about putting a 440 in Im also including a 9.25 rearend with 3.91 sure grip. Rearend was pulled from a wrecked truck that was wrecked about 500 miles after the rearend was rebuilt, so essentially new.
Im in the process of buying a home and cleaning out projects so Im lumping everything together. Will store for short period and assist with shipping for non local buyers. Local buyers I can deliver for a fee.
Truck is located in Gladstone, OR. Clean title. Deposit of at least $1000 due at time of purchase; balance due within 5 business days.
