Now for sale is my beautiful 69 Dodge Coronet 500 Convertible- originally a 383 4 speed car with buddy seat, it is now a 500 cubic inch Muscle motor aluminum head monster. Rotisserie restored 21 years ago and the body is completely painted from top to bottom like mother mopar did. Coupled to a tremec TKO 600 5 speed trans, custom drive shaft, Original Dana 60 rear 1969 axle with 3.54 gears that has been completely gone thru. Brakes are 12" wilwoods at all 4 corners with park in the rear and ARP 3" wheels studs all the way around. Handling is complemented by huge Helwig front and rear sway bars, 1.09 road race torsion bars, Hemi leaf springs, a fully welded and gusseted K frame, Boxed lower control arms with Tubular upper arms. Sub frames are tied. All Stainless brake line with braided flex hose.
The Uni body frame has been completely reinforced so the car is very stiff body-wise. car has not been cut as it is a rare convertible and the one thing i always hear is "I've never seen one of those before"....which is right, as they're very rare- more rare than an R/T convertible. Grant leather wrapped steering wheel. Carbon fiber pistol grip shifter. Beautiful two tone power 6 way leather seats that are heated and everything is fully functional. Everything in this car that was added is correctly circuit breakered and relayed. Targa type 4 point roll bar was fitted with custom cover and looks phenomenal. Oem factory chrome racing mirrors. Engine makes a tremendous amount of torque and will light the tires at a 50mph roll, yet docile to just drive around town with good manners on pump 93.... The car is not a Squishy wallowing car like stock but more like a Coronet on rails with steroids...
Engine is a 72 440 block with muscle motor 500" kit, 10.5 Ross pistons, I beam rod, lightweight .990 pins, all ARP hardware .030 overbore, block was stress relieved and flashing removed. Straightline performance .587" lift solid cam with matching lifters, Smith bros push rods, Crane adjustable rockers on top of ported and polished Edelbrock RPM heads topped off with sheet metal aluminum valve covers and an RPM intake with Biggs 950HP Holley, HV oil pump with 1/2" pickup and high capacity pan, Fluid damper,march pulley serpentine setup, power master 100Amp Black Alternator with bulkhead bypass kit so it has rock solid voltage, Billet MSD distributor with MSD wire with fire sleeves (those are some big headers!), aluminum water pump with Hi efficiency aluminum radiator with 2x 11" electric puller fans that are thermostatically operated (they work on their own) so just get in and drive- Fuel is fed by Holley Blue electric pump with all new aluminum lines. Car fires immediately and settles down to a nice aggressive lope thru the Hooker super comp 2" headers into 3 1/2 pipes with removable cut outs and flowmaster delta Mufflers before the rear axle with dumps.......nothing but the best materials money could buy was used on this car and i have owned it for 22 years. Car was originally from California from San Bernadino Dodge and i still have the dealer license plate frame.
wheels are billet centerline daggers 17x11 rear with BFG KDWS new tires 315/35/17 and fronts are 17x8 with new 245/35/17 BFG
