Car description |

This is a 1950 Dodge 4 door sedan... I believe its Meadowbrook, but ebay only offered coronet, but maybe Im wrong, they didnt used model names back then very often!! This was my grandfathers car, it had been restored in 2003, but had been barn stored for a few years while in bad health.. It still looks AMAZING, runs good starts right up, drives good for a 1950, (meaning its a little slow) plus its three on the tree trans, so you will have a culture shock over auto trans... the interior is wonderful, this car is not too far off from a show car. However, like I said, it had fallen neglected a bit for a minute there so u can see some SURFACE rust, but the underbody is solid, the rockers are solid. the trunk is solid, all in all a great find for someone who likes to tinker a little. Comes with a tote of extra, or back up parts... This is a 6 volt car, not 12 volt. some of the trim is missing, it never got back on after the restore and since my grandfathers passing has not been recovered, uncovered or whatever. As far as I know the miles are original and accurate. Clean title in hand. As for why selling. I love this car, but its not my thing, my style nor is there room for it... it belongs with a car guy who will treat it right. figure this is a 68 year old part of american motor history! Research shows this car to book just shy of $10k... I have set the reserve well below that.
I have driven this car recently 100 miles no issue... But if you live far away I suggest trailering because it cant do freeway speeds like modern cars...
